  4. Solve for y and then plug in the given x values and find y. y – 4 = 3x – 8; x = -1, 5, 9

  5. What is the length of a rectangle with area 98 inches squared and base of 14 in? Karen walks 3 miles per hour and covers 12 miles. How long did she walk?
