  2. Grading • I did a lot of grading over the weekend. • I found that a lot of you are missing a lot of assignments • I know some of you have done more of the work than you’ve turned in. • I need to make sure everyone is turning in work the same way, so that I receive all the assignments and you receive credit.

  3. Do Nows • All “Do Now” assignment should be in the same document. • Do not share a new file each day. Just add more to the same file.

  4. Title is so important • When you share the file, it will ask you to give it a name.Give it the EXACT SAME NAME as whatever it was called on my page. • Work that is titled incorrectly or not titled will not receive credit from today on.

  5. Separate Different Assignments • Only put the Do Now assignments into one file. • If we do two different assignments in one day, you should be sharing two different files. • If we do 10 assignments in one day, you should be sharing 10 different files.

  6. You don’t need your name in the subject. • Gmail tells me who sent the file. • I don’t even need you to tell me what period you’re in. I know what period you’re in. • Just give me the same title on your work as I titled the assignmenton the website.

  7. Group Work • Only one person needs to share the file with me, but you do need to put the names of everyone at the top of the document. • Some people let permissions expire, so if you don’t put somebody’s name, it might disappear and then they won’t get credit. • Therefore, put all names at the top of the document.

  8. Share each file, don’t just add it to a folder • When you share a file, make sure you share it by clicking “share” on the file, not by adding it to a folder you have shared with me. • I only get a notification that you shared it if you share it individually.

  9. Making Up Work • When I grade work, I typically send you an e-mail to tell you what score you got. • If it’s less than 4 out of 4, I will briefly describe why you didn’t earn full credit. • If you want to make up work: • Fix whatever I said was wrong • Send me a reply to your score saying that you have made changes and want a re-grade. • If you need more in-depth explanations, reply to the e-mail with your score asking me to explain.
