Assessment & Transition of IESNs in New Brunswick Objectives • Establish competency based assessment & transition programs accessible to Anglophone & Francophone IESNs. • Improve IESNs’remote access to allow a transparent & continuous assessment process. • Improve transition of IESNs & their integration into the NB Workforce. • Review data collection & written reports to optimize regional planning of the Health Human Resources

Assessment & Transition of IESNs in New Brunswick Phase 1 (2011-2012) Establish competency based assessment & transition programs accessible to Anglophone & Francophone IESNs. • Review competency based assessment & transition programs to reflect specific NB. content. • Translate programs, tools & resources. • Put in place a secondary site for the assessment of Francophones. • Form evaluators & clinical teachers.

Assessment & Transition of IESNs in New Brunswick Phase 1 (2011-2012) Improve IESNs’remote access to allow a transparent et continous assessment process. • Website proposing links, tools & key resources to stay the course toward licensing. • Online follow-up system on the status of the application.

Assessment & Transition of IESNs in New Brunswick Phase 2 (2012-2013) Improve IESNs’ remote access to allow transparent and continuous assessment process. • Self-evaluation tools to assess competencies & resources online in English & in French. • Preparation sessions for licensing examination.

Assessment & Transition of IESNs in New Brunswick Phase 3 (2013-2014) Improve transition of IESNs & their integration into the New Brunswick Workforce. • Web mentoring program to support the assessment’s clinical component & transition & integration into the workplace. • Workshops preparing for the licensing examination.

  9. Assessment & Transition of IESNs in New Brunswick Phase 4 (2014-2015) Review data collection & written reports to maximize regional planning of Health Human Resources • Establish a minimal set of data to ensure consistency of statistics reports on IESNs, in collaboration with the Atlantic Provinces.
