FTC National do-not-call list By law, infoUSA will NOT be able to receive this file! • File will be available only to “Telemarketers” and “Sellers” • Telemarketer – any person who, in connection with telemarketing, initiates or receives telephone calls to or from a customer or donor [16 CFR 310.3(bb)]. • Seller – any person who, in connection with a telemarketing transaction, provides, offers to provide, or arranges for others to provide goods or services to the customer in exchange for consideration [16 CFR 310.3(z)]. • Telemarketers cannot share do-not-call data among various • client sellers. • Telemarketers must obtain a separate copy of the national do-not-call list for each of their customers.
