  2. Pediatric Cardiologist Pediatric cardiology is the study of baby hearts. Many people do not know, but many babies are born with heart disease. Some babies are diagnosed with heart problems in the whom. For these babies that have these problems they need someone specialized in the disease of baby hearts. No matter the cause of the heart disease, a pediatric cardiologist has a very complex and rewarding career. It takes a lot of education and training to become a pediatric cardiologist.

  3. Education Requirements • The first step to becoming a pediatric cardiologist is getting and undergraduate degree. You will have to excel in college to help get into medical school. • Second step is taking the MCAT(Medical School Admissions Test.) The MCAT score will be one of the most important way that medical schools will judge you on.

Education Requirements • Step three apply to medical school Excel in medical school • Step four Decide if you want to do your residency in pediatrics or combine internal medicine/pediatrics • Step five The next step is a three-year program that will train you to understand pediatric cardiology • Step six Get your medical license. Before you can go into private practice, you will have to pass your state board.

Career Outlook • The job market for my job looks good because it going to grow 22% between 2008-2018 • My career is a growing field • Pediatric cardiology will be around for years because there will always be babies with heart diseases. • Yes, I might have to move out of the state. • I would consider the hospital I would work at.
