Objective for today • Introduction to the new orientation 2013 • Programme • Structure • Respective committees and job scope • Brief timeline of Orientation planning • Individual preference for committees in Orientation 2013, and availability for the remaining holidays • Finalise the theme of the orientation

  3. Programme • 3 full days of activities fully planned by Students’ Council

  4. Structure of orientation Orientation OIC (Javier) Orientation AIC Programme OIC & AIC Publicity OIC & AIC Logistics OIC & AIC OGL OIC Admin OIC & AIC Small team (2) Team (at least 6) 4 faction heads 6 sectional IC Team (36 OGLs) Team (Station masters)

  5. Job scope • Logistics • In charge of all logistics required by programme comm. (for games/ paint for backdrop/ …) • Food handling • Transportation of logistics to location

  6. Job scope 2. Publicity • Design for theme (logos, t-shirt, posters) • Create or liaise with Nucleii (for videos, photohunt, …) • T-shirt printing • Camp packing list/ Idemnity form

  7. Job scope 3. Programme • 6 sectional ICs: • Station games • Mass dance • Amazing race • Beach games • War games • Campfire

  8. Job scope 4. OGL (4 faction heads) • In-charge of OGLs under each faction • Lead faction in cheering • Take charge of points system (if any) • Icebreaking games/ identity making/ Faction flags & banners • Learn mass dance • OG names

  9. Job scope 4. OGLs - Support faction head - Icebreaking games/ cheers/ identity making/ Faction flags & banners • Learn mass dance & school song • OG names • Senior OGLs to lead and guide junior OGLs • Double up as manpower for pre-camp if needed

  10. Job scope 5. Admin • Runner between teachers and relevant comm during orientation • Namelist, camp fees, shirt size, food preference, medical history, time in & out attendance
