  1. Općina Dobrinj Grad Dobrinj, drevni kaštel, smješten u sredini otoka sa kojeg puca pogled na sjeverni dio otoka središte je istoimene općine. Još donedavno Dobrinj je bio najnerazvijenija općina na otoku uz veliki odljev stanovništva u druge djelove otoka ili na susjedno kopno. Ovaj tipično poljoprivredni kraj danas je ponovo među onim mjestima sa izglednom svijetlijom budućnosti.

  2. Nekad nedostatak, danas je prednost upravo neizgrađenost, sačuvana priroda, izdašna zemlja za proizvodnju zdrave hrane, očuvana izvorna arhitektura i običaji što sve čini dobru podlogu za razvoj posebne vrste turizma – agroturizma.
