  • Increased scalability This environment is can be seamlessly expanded to serve a nearly unlimited number of users
  • Load balancing All traffic to the site will go to a machine that finds the least busy server and directs traffic there
  • Redundancy since RPIN is viewed as a mission critical application, having it in a clustered environment means if one web server goes down, there are still others to serve the site so there is ZERO user impact
