What questions do they ask? • What answers/reactions could there be to the text? Next, track the techniques. • If there is a rhyme scheme, what is it? • How does the poet employ description? • What figurative language is used?

  3. Now, write your response… • The goal is to answer from the voice of the unseen thing/person • Mimic the tactics employed by the author, so it seems the same person wrote both pieces • Aim to follow the original in form and topic
