  3. Goals for the day • Diagnostic Teacher Pre-Assessment in Physical and Earth Science • Introduction and Training of FOSS Materials

  4. Success Stories • Please share any high points you have witnessed or experienced with your students the first half of the school year.

  5. Assessment Instructions • Don’t Panic!!! We are setting the group baseline to measure growth over the next three years. • You may use a pen or pencil (provided). • You may use a calculator (provided). • Write everything on the assessment even if you have to use the back.

  6. Assessment Instructions • Fill out the front page first. • Please include the start time and the last four digits of your S.S. # (you may use another four digit that you can remember that will also be used on the post-test) • On ORQ’s you may write on the back. • Write down the end time in the blank on the front page when finished • Turn in when finished

  7. Assessment Instructions • Please take a short break between test. • Please follow the same instructions for the second test. • Remember to fill out front page first, include start/end time, and four digit number. • Turn in when finished

  8. The Rest of the Schedule… • Lunch – 11:30 to 1:00 (on your own) • FOSS Training – 1:00 to 3:00 • Wrap up/Evaluations – 3:00 to 3:30 • Also….Science Showcase (FOSS, SEPUP, and STC) at Bowling Green Jr. High School from 4:00 to 8:00 (snacks/drink provided)

The Wrap-Up… • All Reflections and Activity Logs to be sent electronically (leaders and members) • All invoices for payment must be faxed with current mailing address and SS# • Next deadline for team leaders is May 16th, 2008 • Please fill out evaluations and leave on table • Leave name-tags in basket

  13. Don’t Forget…. • Science Showcase (FOSS, SEPUP, and STC) at Bowling Green Jr. High School from 4:00 to 8:00 (snacks/drink provided) • Need directions???
