  1. Action Oriented Things do not happen. Things are made to happen. -John F. Kennedy

  2. The Bumble Bee -What “Can’t be done” is something that we have all told ourselves at some point, but the only thing that has really stopped us is our own inaction. -Aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn’t be able to fly; but the bumble bee doesn’t know it, so IT GOES ON FLYING ANYWAY.” -Mary Kay Ash The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.  -Confucius

  3. Just Do It! • Sometimes we may not have sufficient time to plan, so what do we do? Run with it! Get up, find something that needs to be done, and just do it. • Sometimes what we do may not be the top priority on everyone else’s lists, but that is never an excuse to do nothing. • We need to be flexible and do what needs to be done when the tasks arise. Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing. -Thomas Jefferson

  4. Sometimes we find more reasons not to do something than we do to complete a task. • Time, resources, ability; all these can be used to our advantage or as excuses to not succeed: -I don’t have the time to complete my financial report… -I don’t have the tools to complete the regional focus… -I don’t know how to… • When we truly want to succeed at something, we will do whatever it takes to do it! I do not believe in excuses. I believe in hard work as the prime solvent of life's problems.  -James Cash Penney
