Aims of tonight: • To preview Jay Peak Resort • To get us in the ski mood! • Introduce you to the staff on the trip • Go over the latest trip information • Kit list/equipment • Insurance details • Collection of info sheets, payments and passport copies • (Please note: Full payment required by 23rd November please) • ESTA electronic visa requirement • Q&A session

  3. Trip Dates: Leave = Sunday 7th April 2019 Return = Sunday 14th April 2019

  4. Flight Information • Aer Lingus Via Dublin • Sunday 7th April • Depart Heathrow at 8.20am and arrive at Boston (via Dublin) at 2.50pm • Sunday 14th April • Return to Heathrow (via Dublin) at 11.20am

  9. ‘ESTA’ Electronic Visa • Everyone needs to complete an online electronic visa. It covers entrance to USA for 2 years. • Need passport details to complete. • https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/ • Only takes 10 mins and will cost $14. • Complete and print off the ‘Application Approved’ page and return to school asap.

  10. Passports • Brexit uncertainties • Need 6 months after trip dates just to be sure • I need a photocopy of the photo page asap

  11. Insurance • Covered by Chartis Insurance, which is part of the IAG group, and is the Hertfordshire Schools blanket policy. • Excellent full cover • Copies of the insurance policy are available on request • You don’t need your own insurance

Paperwork and Payment Collection • Please hand in all outstanding paperwork tonight • If for any reason you don’t have the required paperwork please get it to me as a matter of urgency • Final payment is to be made by Friday 23rd November 2018. (I know timing for this last payment is rubbish just before Xmas but I have a payment deadline to meet from the Tour Company)
