Forth Valley Objectives: Increasing Awareness, Consultation, Exploring Challenges and Opportunities

This project aims to increase awareness, consult and involve stakeholders, and explore challenges and opportunities in the Forth Valley area. It is the only successful local authority led bid and will commence on April 1, 2018. The project focuses on devolved employability services, with a transitional year in 2017/18 and full service from 2018 to 2021. The key eligibility criteria include long-term unemployed individuals, those with disabilities or health conditions, and early entry groups. The contract details include two years of support pre-employment or in-work, three levels of support based on needs, and voluntary participation. The payment model consists of a service fee of 30% and job outcome fees of 70%, which are divided into three payments over different time periods. The project is in line with Fair Start Scotland values and principles of inclusive growth model for Falkirk.
