  2. Bhoj Open University Distance Education • The Bhoj Open University is a part of National initiative to support affordable and quality higher and advanced education. The University was recognized in the year of 1991 under an Act of State Assembly. The University also honoured with the Post-facto recognition of Distance Education Council for programmes provided by the distance modes. All the distance programmes provided by the University are approved by DEC.

Tamil Nadu Open University (TNOU) Distance Education • Tamil Nadu Open University is recognized by UGC in 2015 & is one of the few universities approved to offer distance learning outside its state of establishment. The University offers 117 programs which range from certificate courses to post-graduation. The programs offered by the university are recognized by the Distance Education Council (DEC), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Dr BR Ambedkar Open University Distance Education • The BR Ambedkar University major aims are to pass on the education to the women and the working professionals who are not able to join the study as the full time course. The university also helps in improving the education level of socially and geographically harmful people of society. The University has 117 study centres which are spread in all districts throughout the state.
