  2. Looking Activity Antoine Bourdelle, Beethoven: The Tragic Mask, 1901. Bronze, Collection of the Tobin Theatre Arts Fund.

  3. Studio Procedure Create your own expressive clay bust! Place clay on your board (sculpture base). Sculpt shoulders and a head to create the bust, keeping the clay in one piece. Use your fingers and clay sculpting tools to create an expression that conveys your emotion. It does not have to be lifelike, but it must convey emotion using shape, texture, etc.
