more on elizabeth lindsey
More on Elizabeth Lindsey
  • Born about 1793 in Sally Run or Walkers Creek VA
  • Grew up in Washington Co. on banks of South Holston where the Laurel comes in.
  • We are not sure when she was married to Thomas H. Johnson, estimate it would be about 1810 or 1811.
  • She bore about 5-8 children, including Barbara Johnson.
  • Elizabeth is not listed on the 1860 Johnson Co census, but is on the 1850 and 1840. . She is named and alive on a Johnson County Deed dated Aug. 26 1856. So presumably her death is between that date and the 1860 census.
