  1. EXCELLENCE IN LIFE Dr. NAVNEET ARORA Associate Professor DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL & INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ROORKEE

  2. Why I am here ? • To give a Talk not a Lecture • To remind you which you may know already • To share my experiences and to advice

  3. Advice Advice is seldom welcome and those who need it the most, always like it the least.

  4. Remember • It is better to have a successful exit than a favourable entrance. Because what matters is not being applauded when you arrive, but being remembered when you leave. 2. It is the message which is important not the messenger.

  5. Aim TO ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE IN LIFE AND IMPROVE INTER-PERSONAL RELATIONS Not through Knowledge but through Realisation

  6. Real Teaching • I never teach my pupils, • I only attempt to provide the condition in which they can learn. - Albert Einstein

  16. Criticism • If people criticise you, hurt you or shout at you, don’t be bothered. • Just remember in every game audience make the noise and not the players.
