  1. Prescient II Extinguishing Control Panels • Comprehensive facilities for gaseous extinguishing systems • Designed to BS 7273 Part 1 • Complies with EMC and LVD directives • 1 minute actuator cut off operation • Monitored actuator / solenoid release • Zone isolate feature • Common fire, fault relay facilities • 1st & 2nd stage relay facilities • Gas discharged and reset relay facilities • Intrinsically safe barrier settings

  2. Prescient II Extinguishing Control Panels • Metron or solenoid compatible • Single or double knock operation • Pre-discharge delay adjustable from 0 to 8.5 minutes • Discharge indication with or without pressure switch • Option for inhibit silence alarms when gas imminent • Option for rapid buzzer pulse when gas imminent • Semi-flush bezel and fully-flush cabinet options • Membrane fascia with tactile switches • Easily removable chassis

  3. Mechanical Assembly Multiple earth termination points located adjacent to cable entries. Mounting points for the Prescient motherboard chassis. Display and motherboard chassis are removable for ease of wall mounting. 24V battery set.

  4. Detection inputs and Alarm / Actuator outputs

  5. Remote Connections

  6. Relay Contacts

  7. Panel Configuration Options • One-Man Test • Earth Fault Monitoring Enable/Disable • Zone 1 Double Knock • Zone 2 Double Knock • Zener Barrier Thresholds • Pressure Switch Used/Not Used Option • Actuator Short Circuit Enable/Disable • 0 to 8 minutes 30 seconds Timer Delay • Manual Release Gives Instant Discharge • Inhibit Silence Alarms During Gas Imminent • Buzzer Rapid Pulse 15 Seconds Before Discharge • Evacuate Operates Aux. Fire Relay • Latching Fault Indications • Motherboard link to switch off actuator output after 1 minute operation

  8. Alarm Circuit Options • Alarm1 First Stage, Alarm2 Second Stage • Either - Alarm Circuit 1 operates for a first stage alarm condition and a second stage alarm condition. • Or - Alarm Circuit 2 operates only for a second stage alarm condition. • Alarms Continuous in First Stage • Either - Alarm Circuits 1 and 2 pulse for a first stage alarm condition • Or - Alarm Circuits 1 and 2 are continuous for a first stage alarm condition • Alarms Continuous in Second Stage • Either - Alarm Circuits 1 and 2 pulse for a second stage alarm condition. • Or - Alarm Circuits 1 and 2 are continuous for a second stage alarm condition

  9. User Controls The Prescient panel has clear, unambiguous fire and extinguishing system status LED indications. Extinguishing system LED indications. These single-function user controls are easy to operate. Fire status LED indications. Keyswitch to enable user controls

  10. Status Indicators • Two types of status indicators are available in small, matching enclosures. • status indicator with auto/manual keyswitch • status indicators with manual release and auto/manual keyswitch, abort and timer hold Weatherproof status indicators are also available (not illustrated).

  11. LC250 Weight Monitor The LC250 Weight Monitor is designed to detect and indicate leakage from extinguishant cylinders. No need for mechanical assemblies which take up space. Easy to configure controller links up to 4 weigh monitors and may be linked to extinguishant control panel to provide fault indication in the event of extinguishant leakage. Solid state electronic weight monitors with no moving parts ensure simple installation with reliable performance.
