    • Germany: Conquers France, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, and Poland.
    • British evacuation and Dunkirk.
    • Battle of Britain: June-Sept. 1940.
    • German invasion of Russia: Sept. 1940.
    • Begins Lend-Lease Act, Convoy duty in the Atlantic.

    • Controls China, moves into Indochina.

U.S. Freezes asset, embargo on scrap, iron and steel.

Japan forces British withdraw of Singapore.

Japan issues demands November 20, 1941.

Unfreeze Assets

  • Rommel defeated at El Alamein.
  • Combined Allied landings in North Africa, Sicily.
  • Convoy system gains control of the Atlantic.
  • Prepare for Normandy Landings.
