  1. E4L Programme -One Stop Shop(oss) Cooperation with other units Presented By OSS Team October 22, 2012

  2. Composition • SfL works with LOM/YEfL/CLIP under the OSS. • All SfL operating districts benefit from the OSS programme.

  3. Benefits of the programme • It creates the opportunity to have joint activities. • Helps to avoid duplication of activities. • Promotes judicious use of programme resources. • There is synergy among components in carrying out some programme activities. e.g. tapping of expertise from other units.

  4. Cooperation • Individual units cooperate very well and support each other. E.g. in areas of transporting materials or providing information on behalf other units. This saves time, energy and resources which builds core competencies • Support in providing relevant information to target groups on behalf of other units. E.g Staff of SfL taking applications from CBO networks for submission to LOM head office.

  5. Cooperation • Taking up facilitation roles in workshops and other similar activities. • Annual Learn and Share Meeting serves as an opportunity for team members to share experiences and ideas.

  6. Challenges • The name “School for Life” sometimes overshadows the existence of other units. • This is however minimized through continuous interaction and creation of awareness regarding the other units during “face the beneficiary forum”

  7. Conclusion • The OSS allows individual units to combine their efforts in achieving programme goals and objectives, which brings about effective and efficient implementation of programme activities.
