  1. In humans, dimpled checks are a dominant trait, with a genotype of DD or Dd. Non-dimpled checks are a recessive trait with a genotype of dd. Imagine Parent A is Heterozygous for dimpled checks and Parent B is homozygous for non-dimpled checks. What is the probability their offspring will have dimples? Show all four steps for the Punnett square process. Now imagine that you have dimpled checks, but you do NOT want your children to have dimples? Remember your genotype could be DD or Dd, what genetic pairing gives you the best chance of having children with no dimples.
