"Decolorization of Malachite Green in MtDP27 Mutant Bacterial Strains: Time and Absorbance Analysis"

This study investigates the decolorization of malachite green by MtDP27 mutant bacterial strains. Bacterial cultures were grown to mid-log phase and adjusted to an optical density (OD) of 0.40-0.44 at 600 nm in PBS. Following centrifugation, absorbance at OD 620 nm was measured at various time intervals to assess decolorization efficiency. The results show significant differences in decolorization capabilities compared to wild-type strains, highlighting the potential of MtDP27 mutants in bioremediation applications.
