Socializers Relationship oriented Seek approval of those around them. They move, act, and speak quickly and avoid or ignore details whenever possible They are risk takers. They enjoy being in the spotlight and have good persuasive skills. They might work in public relations, as talk show hosts, trial attorneys, social directors or hotel personnel.
Directors Task oriented. Move, act, and speak quickly. They want to be in charge and oversee the actions of others as a way to achieve results. They make decisions quickly and display good administrative skills. They could be newspaper reporters, stockbrokers, freelance consultants, corporate CEOs or drill sergeants.
Thinkers Task oriented. They move, act, and speak slowly. They enjoy solitary, intellectual, and philosophical challenges and prize accuracy. Cautious decision makers with good problem-solving skills. They may be accountants, engineers, computer programmers, involved in poultry science, soil science, biochemistry, systems, analysis, or architecture.
Relaters Relationship oriented. They move, act, and speak slowly. They avoid risk and seek tranquility, calmness, and peace. They enjoy teamwork and show good counseling ability and skills. They may counsel, teach, work in social work, the ministry, psychology, nursing, and human resource development.
Passive Leaders Goals include, being liked, nice and friendly. Want to avoid conflict at all costs. They do not take charge of the moment. They do not always meet people’s needs.
Aggressive Goals are to win, dominate, intimidate, overpower and get what they want, when they want it.
Assertiveness Goals are to get work done at a high level of excellence while bringing out the growth and development of those doing the work.
