  4. DuringtheTurkishNationalMovement, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk held a congress in Sivas between 4-11 September, 1919. Manyimportantdecisionsaremade in thiscongressand it shapedthefuturepolicy of TurkishWar of Independence. That’swhyourschool’s name is Kongre, whichmeansCongress.

  5. Sivas is famousfor: 1- DİVRİĞİ MOSQUE: • Built in 1228-1229. • Listed as a worldheritage in 1985 by UNESCO. • Also has a veryoldhospitalwith it.

  6. Thesedoctorfishlive in warmthermalwater (36-37 C) andhealsmanydiseasessuch as PSORIASIS and RHEUMATİC PAINS. • - It’sabout 110 kmsawayfromthecitycenter but manypeoplebothfrom inside turkeyoroutsidevisitthisplaceeveryyear. 2- THERMAL WATER AND DOCTOR FISH

  8. Kangal shepherddogsareworldwidefamousfortheirbravery, loyaltyandstrenght. They can easilykillwolvestoprotecttheherd. Althoughtheyareroughtothewolvesandthieves, theyareverykindtothefamilymembers. Thepricefor a gooddogcan goupto $15.000. Therearesomebreedingfarms in Kangal, thetownwhich has giventhe name tothesedogs. It s 90 kms far from Sivas.
