  6. Long Term Goal To develop student’s reading, comprehensive, receptive and productive language skills by adopting 21st century teaching skills.

  7. Short Term Goals • To impart the information about a great artist “Rembrandt” to the students by: • Using new questioning strategies to promote critical thinking. • Focus on encouraging instead of praising. • Encourage to work with collaboration and interaction to get the best answers and results. Help students understand that they can use each other as resources.

  8. Instructional Strategies and Tasks • Students will be provided time for discussion. • Students will be allowed to share and exchange their knowledge in groups. • A movie on the topic will be shown in the library to develop their interest. • Activity period of Speaking Skills will be utilized for the same purpose.

  11. I’ll work on creating collaborative groups or peers I’ll plan a quiz to be held in the presence of the Principal and the faculty. August December October February I will set up a schedule for my action plan and will display it on the soft board I’ll arrange for presentations of the students with administrators, students and parents

  13. CONCLUSION To meet the challenges of the 21st Century, student approach towards the topic will be strongly motivated by implementing Bloom’s Taxonomy & applying it in my teaching strategies.
