Technology Transfer and Future Plans
Discover the BioSettler, a cutting-edge retrofitting option for wastewater treatment plants designed to help meet legislative requirements without expanding plant footprints. This unique technology integrates inclined plate settlement and bubble-free membrane aeration to enhance solids removal and support additional biological treatment. Also introduced is our economic alternative to activated carbon—Dolomite filters—which have achieved a remarkable 76.5% chromium removal. Investigate the future of environmental innovation with our Questor Centre focused on sustainable energy and advanced wastewater solutions.

BIOSETTLER • Retrofit option for Wastewater Treatment Plants – help meet legislative requirements without increasing the Footprint of the plant • Unique technology combining two established techniques: • Inclined plate settlement • Bubblefree membrane aeration • Inclined plates reduce required settling time, therefore increasing solids removal • Bubblefree membrane aeration supports additional biological treatment – not possible in conventional settlers
DOLOMITE – AN ECONOMIC ALTERNATIVE TO ACTIVATED CARBON Pilot adsorption filter to remove Chromium 76.5% removal obtained Dolomite filter. Natural Dolomite deposits • CaCO3.MgCO3 • SG 2.84g/cm3 • Pure dolomite contains 45.7% MgCO3 and 54.3% CaCO3 Thermally activated dolomite Activation increases the surface area from 0.7 to 60m2/g (max)
