  4. Why CEE and Balkans? As a group of youth coming from different European countries of the region we see that we are all dealing with the very similar problems concerning the SRHR field. Zagreb, 2009

  5. 2006 ASTRA Youth Research on Knowledge and Attitudes of Youth on Sexual and Reproductive Health, Youth’s VOICE Participating countries: Armenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Georgia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia.  Sample: about 50 young people from each country aged 16-24. The research was carried out among pupils, who were found in the school area. Zagreb, 2009

Achievements • Second generation of sexual educators. • Significant presence in the media – for example live broadcast from our actions. • Recognition of our work results by goverments and educational institutions. • Annual increase young people's interest and participation in the action. Strategy and plans • Sensitize members of the European Parliament about SRHR problems that young people from new members’ states and neighboring countries are facing, and about the urgent need to respond to those problems on the European level. • Drawing attention of media, and policy makers to problems related to lack of access to reliable, comprehensive and scientifically based information on sexuality.   19. Developing ASTRA Youth presence in the Internet. More visibility will help us to inform and educate more and more young people about their reproductive rights. • Increasing the number of ASTRA Youth members, and the range of activities. • Providing youth friendly services parallel to public institutionstogether with peer education. • Speak in all public discussions related to sexuality of young people Zagreb, 2009
