  2. Animal Group It belongs to the animal group called mammals.

  3. Features • It has thick skin covered with a coat of stiff hairs. • It has a bulky body with short legs. • They range in length from about 2 to 7 feet. • It can weigh as much as 700 pounds. • They are so smart that they can know their own names.

  4. Habitat • Most of them live in farms but some are wild. • The females don’t live with the males because the males will fight with the females.

  5. Food • They eat grass. • The babies will drink milk. • Domestic kinds will eat any kind of people food. • Wild ones eat meat.

  6. Family Life • Mothers have about 4 to 5 babies each year. • The babies are called piglets.

  7. Unusual Facts • Domestic ones live on every continent. • They drink milk.

  8. My animal is a pig.
