The Game • Bordersands is a tower defense game based in a desert environment where you defend your borders from attacking armies. • Gamemaker was used to create and compile the game. • The game features several levels. Money gained from killing enemies is used to purchase and upgrade towers. • The game has a high score system that counts up your kill score as you play.

  4. About Gamemaker • Due to using the free version, much of the game still had to be hard coded. • Each level in the game is a ‘room’ in game maker where set variables determine what shows up on screen. • Changing from a level to another level or menu involves changing the room the player is in.
