  1. EXARCH ANTIM IMATHS AND SCIENCE SECONDARY SCHOOL VIDIN , BULGARIA

General information • Vidin is situated in north-west part of Bulgaria; • The nearest airport is in Sofia about 240 km; • Nearby are Belogradchik roks and Magura cave; • The school – 604 students, aged 11 – 18; • Classes with intensive study: maths, ICT, biology; • Moved to another building in September 2012; • Aiming for 40 mobilities in two years.

  3. Specific information • The students are very motivated, eager to meet young people from other countries, but most of them have no experiense; • Some of them are very nervous about staying in families; • Some of my colleagues working on the project don’t speak English very well; • Bulgaria is very inexpensive country;

  4. Vidin’s partnership offer • Water resources - management and protection; • Conferece: 17 – 22 March 2014 • Include many subjects; • Poster contest and saving water broshure. For those who will visit Vidin • Work on the problem of water resources management; • Visit sites in Vidin and the region; • Accomodation in hotels, hostels and families; • Dinners with singing and dancing; • A chance to visit Sofia.

  5. Vidin team • Teachers: biology, ecology, chemistry, phisics, georgaphy, history, English, maths and of course ICT; • Students: age 16 – 18, from classes with intensive study - biology, English and ICT; • We expect to find new friends and partners, share ideas and experience, have fun.
