Feedback Friday (1630-1700) and Sunday (2000-2030) • In quarter 2 2012 Feedback (both the Friday and Sunday transmission) reached 1.1m listeners each week. • The fall in listeners over the past few quarters has been driven by its move in the schedule, from being tx on 13:30 on a Friday to 16:30 in Q3 2011.   3. Feedback Friday (1630-1700) • The Friday afternoon tx of Feedback reached 800k listeners each week in Q2 2012. • It received a 9% share of all radio listening. • Over the past three quarters the audience has remained relatively stable. Source: RAJAR Q2 2012, Adults (15+)

Feedback Sunday (2000-2030) • The Sunday night tx of Feedback received 350k listeners each week in quarter 2 2012. • The programme has a 10.5% share of listening in this slot. • Over the past two years we have seen reach to this slot fall back (we have seen all radio reach fall back on Sunday evenings).   6. Feedback AI Scores • The 16:30 tx of Feedback has seen a solid score in the early 80s since November 2011. • The 20:00 tx has had a more volatile score over the past few years – with it falling to a low 69 in June 2011. Source: BBC Pulse GFK

  7. Feedback Audience comments • Listeners to Feedback enjoy hearing how and why the BBC has made certain decisions. They also appreciate that what could be a very dry subject matter (complaints and comments ) is packaged up in an entertaining way. There are a minority of listeners who listen purely to be entertained. • What do you like about the programme? • “Very entertaining. I often shout at the radio when Feedback is on. It's really good to be able to hear that someone takes radio listeners' views seriously and holds the BBC to account for some of their more unpopular decisions! Always interesting, especially when someone complains about something that you also find a bit of a bugbear.
