  2. Action Plan Goal: Reach our 5 Year Departmental Goals • 4 “Wellness” Goals were created from: • Internal reflections during and following our Departmental 5 Year Review • Professional Reviewer’s suggestions

  3. Action Plan Goal 1: • Work with the Registrar’s Office to offer “Wellness” option choice. Discuss transfer articulations. • Meet with Registrar personnel to discuss true student choice of wellness options • Meet with Registrar personnel to discuss specifics of new laws and articulation agreements • Assessment: Students choose their Wellness options. • New Students Centered ONLINE Add/Drop System is allowing students more choice

Action Plan Goal 2: • Work with the University to upgrade facilities, teaching, research and meeting space, and necessary technology upgrades. • Chair/faculty meet with administration to finalize and implement “plan” for appropriate facilities, equipment, space and technological issues. • Stress necessity of effective/safe/technogically sound facilities and equipment for teaching, scholarship and service. • Assessment: Are we under construction? Do we have upgraded equipment? • No plan in writing with Administration

Action Plan Goal 3: • Consider “Wellness” Vision and Mission and connection of Wellness Course Objectives and assessments. • WSSD faculty discuss a more “all encompassing” “Wellness” vision and mission for WSSD • WSSD faculty and Learning Outcomes Assessment Committee discuss how to better link course assessments to “Wellness” course objectives • Assessment: Revised linkage with Wellness Objectives in Syllabi. • All Wellness faculty have updated their syllabi and are working to make stronger links with assessments.

  6. Action Plan Goal 4: • Leadership in, promotion and coordination of “Wellness” programming across the campus. • Faculty involvement and leadership in various groups outside of WSSD: • MU Health Services (Breast Health Initiative, • MU Employee Wellness (Grants, Programming, Red Dress…) • Student Wellness • Social Norms (ACHA-NCHA Survey) • Student Affairs Division inclusion on “Wellness Initiatives Committee” • Link with local hospitals and doctors • Assessment: Increase in number of WSSD led initiatives. • Strong progress
