From 2011 to 2013, Nazmi Elmas Elementary School engaged in a Comenius project that fostered creativity and collaboration across Europe. Students participated in a logo competition, created comics, and enjoyed cultural exchanges with peers from partner countries. They expressed their experiences through audiobooks, school newspapers, and an anthology that showcased their writing talents. The project culminated in an unforgettable visit to Turkey and Czech Republic, where students shared traditions and learned about diverse cultures. This initiative strengthened their global awareness and appreciation for teamwork.

TURKEY VISIT • Meeting withtheteachersfromothercountiesandpreparingdances,songsforthemandteachingournationaldancetothem • We had alltheseopportunities,Wethinkweweresoluckybecause of these. Allthestudentscan’tforgetthisvisitandtheguests.

Wetranslatedthem in ourownlanguageandWearepreparing a board tosharethemwithallthefriends in theschool.
SCHOOL NEWSPAPERS Themostexcitingpart in thisnewspaperwastheinterviews . Wepreparedquestionsand ask toourteachersandfriendstolearntheirideasabouttheproject.
