  1. NATURAL GAS By Sasha Reiger and Graeme Prown

  2. What is natural gas? • Natural gas is a naturally occurring gas mixture which we can harness for energy.

  3. Nonrenewable • Natural gas is a nonrenewable, because it’s a fossil fuel. Which is running out and is bad for the environment.

  4. Natural gas discovery • In 500 B.C the Chinese discovered this energy source now known as natural gas.

  5. Natural Gas • Natural gas hasn’t change sense the Chinese, because we still use it as a source of energy.

  6. People involved with natural gas • The most important people involved is the Chinese for discovering it and learning its use’s.

  7. Where is it found. • Natural gas is found from • U.S.A • Canada • Europe • Is mainly found in those area’s.

  8. How is it recovered? You can recovery it at a drill rig. They drill down so that they can harness it.

  9. WHO’S USE’S NATURAL GAS? • Natural gas can be used by anyone. From a family powering there home or a skyscraper heating system.

  10. HOW IS IT STORED? • Once natural gas is harnessed we store it down in underground facilities. Then it can be processed down there.

  11. HOW DO WE CONVERT IT TO ENERGY? • We can place the gas in generators which can output power. It can also work with coal.

  12. What do we use it for? • We now use natural gas for • Power generation • Domestic use • Transportation • Fertilization • Are important things to use natural gas for.

  13. DOW WE USE MORE NOW? • Sense we acquired natural gas we have used it more

  14. ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES • ADVANTAGES DISADVANTAGES • Good source of power nonrenewable • Efficient not the best • Clean fuel pipes for it are high cost • Cheap toxic • Pollutes the Environment (Added by Ms.Locke)

  15. Will this energy be in the future? • This energy will not be in the future because this energy is nonrenewable.

  16. What will it look like in 30 years? • This energy will not be used, because its not renewable.
