  1. Matthew Lovett - How do you overcome Chaos and Move Forward in Life That feeling of powerlessness. None of us are strangers to it. More often than not, we feel as if we are being pulled this way and that by life’s currents. Sometimes, we may even lose control completely, succumbing to addiction and apathy. And is it any wonder why? Take a look around. This society is in complete disarray. The chaos we feel within is simply another facet of the madness happening all around us. As was alluded to before, any critical examination of this society leaves one wondering if the whole thing just wasn’t thrown together in a drunken haze one night. We fight one another for nothing. Wreak havoc against the source of our life, the very environment which sustains us. Money—an arbitrary concept that has no actual baring on reality apart from the meaning or numeric figures we

  2. assign to it—is valued far above that which has actual intrinsic value: that being, living creatures, the natural world, us. Illness has become an industry. Education and knowledge is an industry. Law itself is an industry. The farcical edifice we call “capitalism” has unto itself a greater voice than that of the masses of people who invented it. So it is with the governments themselves. Humans have literally crafted matrices of control and systems of ideology that enslave them. These systems then clash as they attempt to work simultaneously The world has become frayed. As more and more faulty and nonsensical systems of control enter the human arena, there is less room for truth, and that is the heart of the problem. We like to attribute the chaos around us to a number of uncontrollable factors, but ultimately these problems all arise due to an acute lack of truth extant in all that we do. You might think to yourself, what baring does truth, in and of itself, have on how society is ran? Well, that is the problem right there. We, as a society, have been taught not to value truth. Regardless of how much one may claim they love truth, virtually every minute part of the world we have designed for ourselves relies on fiction and outright delusion to continue its existence. That is the sordid reality of our times, that if truth was introduced in any large quantity into the light of mainstream discourse, the very fabric of our current society would tear, and the entire structure would fall in upon itself trying to reconcile its inherent contradictions. This is of course blatantly obvious if you take a minute to think about it. How could a society submerged with misinformation and delusion ever be expected to function properly? The lie that “belief systems” are relatively harmless is part of the reason for the apparent contradictions we see everywhere around us, and is one of the foremost reasons why things just don’t seem “right.” Throughout history there have been various proponents of fiction. For whatever reason, humans have been desensitized to lies, while at the same time being made to greatly fear truth by dividing and compartmentalizing their minds.

  3. On the one hand, we have had those who have risen to proclaim absolutist philosophies and ways of life that were delusional or wrong. An example would be a king or priest demanding their followers believe a certain thing upon penalty of death. This also includes “authoritative” sources, such as theologians, philosophers, scientists, doctors, and economists, people who for whatever reason garner respect and credence among the masses. On the other hand, we have people who have, especially in recent times, promulgated the belief in “personal truths.” There’s nothing personal about truth, it’s eternal and belongs to no one. How do you overcome Chaos? By rooting yourself in reality. Like a tree, seek to have strong roots. This is how you go through life fully in your power, unswayed by the nonsense of this society. Doing so allows you to prosper in all things, business, relationships, and your spiritual journey as a whole. The root of chaos is untruth, or delusion. The solution is self-awareness, embodying truth. To know more click here on Digital Sages.
