  5. Attack- December 7, 1941 • Early am mini-sub attack • Radar operators on Oahu (island where Honolulu and Pearl Harbor are located) locate incoming Japanese planes • Told that it was incoming squadron of B-17 (or could have been birds?)

  6. Attack takes place on Sunday am (why?) • 7:55 am • Torpedoes Japanese used were effective despite submarine nets (planes)
