A low level of education and vocational qualification is characteristic of persons serving a prison sentence Reoffending rate in European prisons is over 50% Demotivation and past negative experiences contributes to failure to recognize knowledge as a value. Monitoring system during imprisonment is guided but it is deficient after release. www.bridge-euproject.eu
