  4. Methodology challenges • There is no comprehensive list of center based child care providers • Home providers likely due not make a profit, and thus, do not know their salary

Sample Homes Centers List of all licensed centers Random sample of 670 centers; 75% response rate Estimate 5.25 workers per centers 5.25*503=2640 75% response rate 1,980 center providers • List of all registered and licensed homes • Random sample surveyed 773 registered homes 227 licensed homes 1,000 homes total • 50% response rate expected
