  1. By Blake and Brianna Lake Trout and Angelfish

  2. There are five different groups of animals with vertebrates. • Mammals • Fish • Reptiles • Birds • Amphibians

  3. The trout and angelfish are both fish.

  4. Lake Trout and Angelfish • Most fish are cold-blooded. • Some fish live in water all their lives. • Some fish have fins and scales. • Some fish give birth to babies hatch from eggs. • Some fish have oxygen from water through special organs called gills.

  5. Angelfish The Emperor Angelfish grows to be 12 to 15 inches in the wild because they eat lots of plants.

  6. Angelfish An angelfish has lots of colors so it blends into its habitat. They swim in coral reefs and their colors red, yellow, or purple help keep them save with this camouflage.

  7. Angelfish • There are 70 different species of Angelfish found in warm ocean waters around much of the world. Most of them live in salt water, but a few have adapted to live in fresh water.

  8. Angelfish Angelfish have stream-lined bodies and can swim quickly into hiding places among the coral reef. This keeps them safe from theirmany predators.

  9. Angelfish They can crush hard-shelled prey with their powerful, beak-like jaws. They like to eat worms, sponges, shrimp, and shellfish.

  10. Lake Trout The lake trout is a carnivore [meat-eater] with well-developed teeth on the jaws, tongue, and the roof of their mouth. Their teeth help them grab their food.

  11. Lake trout A Lake trout is torpedo-shaped and has a deeply-forked tail. Their shape helps them move through the water fast.

  12. Lake Trout • Young lake trout eat plankton, insects, shrimp, and small aquatic animals. They have large mouths that can scoop up plants and animals.

  13. Lake trout Lake trout are the largest species of trout. The largest lake trout measures around 4 feet 2 inches. His color helps him hide from predators.

  14. Lake Trout Lake trout live in many freshwater environments. Trout are usually found in freezing, clear streams and lakes. Their colors and patterns form as a camouflage. Their colors will change as the fish moves to different habitats.

  15. Angelfish and Lake Trout We hope you learned a lot about Angelfish and Lake trout. Thank you.
