Instructional Leadership Team January 7th, 2011 Objective: Begin to Develop Approaches to Support Teachers Who May Be Reluctant to Try New Strategies, Reduce Teacher-Talk, Increase Student Interaction, or Participate in Professional Development Essential Question(s): As an Instructional Leadership Team, what can we do to support teachers who could benefit from incorporating varied instructional strategies that promote student engagement and interaction? What are some of possible approaches that we (Instructional Leadership) can take to lead in this area?
