  3. Overview • Remember why? • Visibility • Credibility • Predictability • SEI Capability Maturity Model is a baseline against which you can measure attributes of your own process • Useful tool to guide process improvement, when intelligently applied

  6. How much? • This equates to about three out of five days per week!

  7. Imagine when you are able to use this time for alternative purposes

  8. Resource $ Input Activity Output Roadmap 1. Exploit the “Process Model” of Work . . . . . . And identify/quantify root causes of excessive de-bugging.

  9. Roadmap 2. Use data to define clear case for change. • What does quality mean at the point of delivery? • What is the impact if it is not met? • How much capacity can reasonably be gained via improvement efforts?
