  • Excess Window was implemented to meet reporting requirements for the Federal Real Property Profile (FRPP)
    • Updates required annually for year-end processing
  • Also used for the Freeze the Footprint initiative

  • Can’t Currently Be Disposed
    • Valid values: Yes or No
      • Yes - the asset cannot be removed from the inventory due to certain circumstances (environmental remediation, historical status, …)
      • No - there are no obstacles preventing the asset from being removed from the Department’s inventory
    • Population required:
      • When Excess Indicator = Yes for
        • DOE Owned Buildings, Trailers and OSF
        • DOE Owned, Withdrawn from Public Domain and Institutional Control Land

    • An explanation as to why the asset can’t currently be disposed
    • 250 characters
    • Population required:
      • When Can’t Currently be Disposed = Yes

    • Date DOE made the final determination to remove the asset from the inventory pursuant to independent statutory authorities
    • Format: MM/DD/YYYY
    • Available for population:

      • GSA Notification Denied date is not populated
    • Must be later than or equal to the GSA Notification Submitted date
