Comox Air Traffic Control Golf Tournament 75th Anniversary of RCAF ATC The 2018 Comox ATC Golf Tournament will be the 39th consecutive tournament, and it coincides with the 75th anniversary of ATC in the RCAF. This is a tournament that brings together the active and retired military ATC community, NAV CANADA ATC, Comox stakeholder aviation, as well the regional aviation community. The Tournament The Course Nestled in the shadow of the Comox Control Tower, Glacier Greens Golf Course offers the perfect location for our annual tournament. Eighteen beautifully manicured holes, Pro Shop, putting green, driving range, and spectacular views of the Comox Glacier. Join your fellow golfers and all your friends at 888 Wing RCAFA the evening before the golf tournament to have a snack, share stories, put faces to those you hear on the frequencies, and have a beverage or two. **CASH ONLY BAR** Meet & Greet As always we have a large prize table with donations from many of our generous local businesses. In the past nearly everyone participating has gone home with something! Prize Table & Giveaways We have new contests planned before the tee off, so get there early! This year we have a special $10,000 hole in one prize if you’re feeling lucky (or skilled). Min of 50 participants required, so please register before the deadline! This has been the format for the last few years and seems to be the most fun, which is what this tournament is all about. All players are eligible for the “closest to the pin” and “longest drive” contests, there will be a men’s and women’s category for both. Also the Accommodations: Local hotels are listed below. We are working on obtaining special rates, and will send out additional information in the coming weeks if we are able to negotiate any type of discount. Open Golf: Everyone is encouraged to enjoy a round of warm-up golf on Thursday, May 31st.
