  2. Go to http://whql.microsoft.com and click "Establish an Account" in the left-hand navigation.

  3. The Qualification Service will check if WHQL software is installed. If you do not have the software installed, click “OK” to proceed.

  4. Select “Yes” to proceed with the installation.

  5. Once the installation is complete, the “Continue” box will appear. Click “Continue” to proceed.

  6. Next, if your company is listed in the pull-down menu, highlight it and press “Continue”. If your company is not listed, select “Not Listed” in the pull-down menu and press “Continue”.

  7. If your company is listed in the pull-down list, please click here (or go to slides 8 & 9)to continue with the instructions on how to request a user account from your company’s account administrator. If your company is not listed in the pull-down list, please click here to continue with the instructions on how to set up an account for your company.

  8. Complete the information below. All fields must be complete to proceed. Click “Continue” when complete.

  9. Your request to establish an account will be sent to the administrator for your company’s account. When the administrator approves your request, you will be sent a user name and password via email. You have now completed the process.

  10. If your company does not have an account, please follow the instructions listed on this page. Once you have read the instructions and downloaded the files, press “Continue”.

  11. After you have read the instructions on the previous page, please see the “Note” below the FTP server information. If you are submitting an application, you may not need to provide this information. In addition, you will be asked to sign the WLPQS.exe file with your company’s Verisign ID.
