Assessment-Only Route (AOR) for Experienced Teachers: A Pathway into Teaching

The Assessment-Only Route (AOR) offers experienced but unqualified teachers a way to achieve Qualified Teacher Status without formal training. This route involves a 12-week assessment period where mentors assess candidates based on the Teachers' Standards (2012). Applicants must meet specific entry requirements and have at least 2-3 years of teaching experience. The assessment process includes self-evaluation, lesson observations, assessment plans, and the submission of a final portfolio.
