The general government sector now consists of the exact number of units and includes all specific extra budgetary funds at central and local government level.

Most of the basic data on which the estimates are based will already have been edited and checked for completeness. Final consumption expenditure of households • Estimates of Household Consumption Expenditure were estimatedbyusing commodity flows based on production, import and trade information. • Most of the basic information from statistical surveys used in the Household Expenditure estimates werechecked for reliability and exhaustiveness by the compiling branches before incorporated into the national accounts. • The reliability and comprehensiveness of the production and external trade data used in the commodity flow estimates werechecked and verified by the compilers of the basic statistics.

Final consumption expenditure of government • The data sources for general government units are exhaustive. General government data is derived from the central government accounting system. • The data concerning social security funds are also fully exhaustive.
