  4. SH&E Personnel • CS- 1 Safety,1 IH 3 Envtl. • Contract-15 • 1 Fire Prot., 2 IH, 1 IH Tech, 1 Safety Spec. 1 Sfty. Tech, 1 Plans/Design Coord. 1 E Prep,6 Envtl., 1 Admin. Problems: Transition staffing in one and two deep areas. Staffing HQ initiatives.

  5. VPP EFFORTS • Large Participation at National VPPA • 2 Site presentation by 3 Star Companies • Successful program to increase employee involvement • Award pool established for “safety performance” • Site Visit – April • Sched. 02 prob slip.

  6. “ENHANCEMENTS TO MISHAP PREVENTION” Employee Involvement Program • Full time coordinator 1st year • Successes • Nat’nl VPPA, 43 attended • Numerous worksite teams • Prog. briefed to all employees • Employees planned and executed “Make Dryden Safer Days”

Other Agenda Items • Safety performance planning • All plans have safety expectation • Lessons Learned Participation • Increase in use • Involvement of facilities projects • Study to capture historic lessons • Self Evaluations • ID’d need for increased employee involvement • Initiated employee involvement program

Needs • Resources • Consider reformat for Q POP funds- direct center help • Post 9/11 • H,S&E Prep Coordination w/HQ Security (most funding to security- significant increase in reqmt’s to H,S& Emerg. Prep) • Continued clarification of Occupational Safety and Health CS and contractual roles in potential criminal and terrorist events.
