Progress Update on EMI-2 Worker Node Validation and Issue Resolution

  3. ATLAS status (*) gsidcap access fails with limited proxies, ticket opened for dCache: https://ggus.eu/ws/ticket_info.php?ticket=87065 But CMS (see next page) do not report such a problem!

  4. CMS status It seems those hacks can still be tolerated for now.

  5. Plans • Update WLCG page with matrix of SE type against supported VOsshowing the latest validation results for each combination • Any site can look for all matching boxes and upgrade to EMI-2 (or -1) when they are all OK • Try to fix remaining big issues ASAP • Make fixes first available via testing repo as usual • Consolidate fixed packages into next WN update • In progress by Cristina and CERN DM team • Longer term: set up HammerCloud instance to keep exercising the test queues with representative jobs
