  1. SXC: SW interfaces SXC Software interfaces

  2. SW interfaces with SC • Telecommand packet structure • Telemetry packet structure • Packet exchange protocol • Time synchronization protocol. Time base, TAI, epoch; • Time logging: Instrument on-board time against CDMS on-board-time against UTC • Instrument autonomy • Continuous coverage or partial coverage • TM –packet rate. TM datarate. In case of partial coverage: storage size. • Format of pointing data SXC Software interfaces

  3. TAC, IDC TAC IDC interfaces • The TAC and the IDC shall comply with the SpaceWire Interface specification. Both the TAC and the IDC shall act as a SpaceWire Node. • The IDC is not acting as a SpaceWire Routing Switch. This implies that there is no packet interface between TAC and SC. • The IDC shall receive Telecommands from the SC that command the TAC. The IDC shall unpack these commands and forward the relevant command-data to the TAC • The IDC shall request at a regular interval the TAC to send Housekeeping data. The IDC shall pack the received data in HK-packet and transmit this data to the SC. [ Option: the TAC generates data without being asked to do so] SXC Software interfaces

  4. TAC, GS GS TAC interfaces • GS shall generate commands to command the heaters • GS shall display TAC-housekeeping • TAC shall deliver conversion data of the command parameters in a format agreed with GS • TAC shall deliver conversion data of the monitor parameters in a format agreed with GS SXC Software interfaces
