Broadband Forum • www.broadband-forum.org • The BroadbandHome Working Group creates standards for remote device management (TR-069) of devices on a broadband network, and requirements for devices of interest to broadband service providers (residential gateways, analog terminal adaptor). • The vast majority of this work is independent of access technology. • [Note: Broadband Forum was previously known as the DSL Forum.]

WT-164 • Requirements for CPE in Support of Accessing Emergency Services • Current revision is still WT-164v3.1 – this is the same as in April 2008 (the last ESW); no updates have been made to it since then. • Includes specifics for handling of multiple locations. • Includes flow chart for recommend sequence of actions. • This document is intended to provide a level of detail beyond phonebcp. It includes detailed flows for a device to get its location configured. • I expect to push for completion once phonebcp is done. But not before.
